August is coming to a close and we are headed in to what is going to be a packed September line up here at LAMP with guest mixes and events. This week we have our own version of Sharknado going here with the return of Shark Faicol to the studio. Make sure to come back tomorrow to check out the sequel.In honor of the all the dust bunnies out on the playa this week, I came across this brand new Techno beast from Rebellion on Friday, figured it would be a great way to start off the week. Really wish I could be back out there with everyone this year to see all the 'stuff and things'. Which brings us back to 'thingzz'. Timo Maas and James Teej have put together a masterpiece from start to finish. Gradually building a lively groove these two get the track going with its massive kick and brooding bass line, introducing the multitude of different percs and FX. All of this coalesces after a short but poignant vocal sample as the track takes you on an audible journey for the next 8 minutes. Its deep melodic techno at its finest. The short sample above doesn't do the song justice so make sure to go out and grab the full track. The other track from the EP this pair put together is also amazing making it well worth picking up the entire EP. Enjoy.
