Track of the Day: Sonder - Feel Me
Sonder - Feel Me
Dripping with sensual grooves and a laid back sensibility, 'Feel Me' by Sonder seduces us into a semi-conscious dream state filled with warmth and euphoria. The track floats effortlessly through its 4:40 run time with low rising bass lines and soft percussive elements invoking a carefree attitude washing away the worries of the day with sun soaked piano riffs. Elements of RnB vibes in the vocal sample infused with slow tempo garage rhythms speak to the native influence of the producers surroundings and his country's storied history in those genres. The little additions of plucked guitar strings and what sound like quick violin loops add character to the track and speak to the attention to detail the producer already commands at such an early stage in his career.Another soothing track from the producer called 'Alone':According to Sonder's twitter he's from Guilford (Surrey) in the UK. This is a city I am personally familiar with. As a teenager in a school nearby I'd often take the train up to get my dose of the latest club tunes and of course pub offerings. The enigma of this producer will not last long as his music is already speaking for himself and other I'm sure will enquire further about his musical origins et al. With only a few public releases we can only expect more to come from this young producer as he opens up his world to us.Check out his debut drop, a John Legend rework that oozes sensuality:Listen to this and other tracks reviewed from this week on Jacob Millar's latest guest mix for us!Enjoy,MR PUZL
