DJ Mag just premiered the title track of Krankbrother’s forthcoming EP and it is fire. ‘Paradigm Shift’, the A-side and title track of the EP, leads in with powerful kick drums that quickly give way to an airy vocal sample. High pitched strings come in alongside a light chime and a clap on the offbeat to keep the vibe right and the energy up. But the synth run that comes in at the breakdown is the highlight of the track. It all comes together beautifully at the drop. This is going to be a perfect sunrise track all summer long. Can’t wait to hear the B-side.[soundcloud url="https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/217147956" params="color=ff5500&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false" width="100%" height="166" iframe="true" /]Danny and Kieran Clancy, the UK-based brothers better known by their moniker krankbrother, are nothing short of a force to be reckoned with. Between their label, events, and their musical productions krankbrother have cemented themselves as leaders in British nightlife. Krankbrother’s tastes are wide-ranging. Last year’s release ‘When You’re Watching Me EP’ perfectly highlights how varied their tastes are. In just two tracks they manage to showcase their ability to drop vibe heavy summer belters like ‘When You’re Watching Me’ (also the name of the EP) to peak hour body jackers like ‘Washed Up’. In addition to the music they have put out themselves, the brothers have released on many of the biggest labels in techno and house music including Circus Recordings, Defected, Exploited, and Strictly Rhythm.Their upcoming Street Party event is going to be an absolute rager as the brothers play alongside a stacked line-up including Chicago House legend, and a personal favorite of this writer’s, Derrick Carter, Horse Meat Disco, and Mike Servito.[soundcloud url="https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/216854984" params="color=ff5500&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false" width="100%" height="166" iframe="true" /][soundcloud url="https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/220977985" params="color=ff5500&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false" width="100%" height="166" iframe="true" /]
