Track of the Day: Lopezhouse - Murnau Ft Angela

Going back to a label today that has long been a favorite of mine. Kittball Records recently put out their 11th volume of their Konspiracy series consisting of 10 tracks that easily could stand out on their own. I have all 11 volumes and can attest to the glaring quality of each track they choose for the series not to mention the entire label as a whole. Starting out with a one of those mid 80's Casio keyboard grooves Lopezhouse quickly brings in a thumping kick to give it a more modern touch. Mostly though this track is all about the melody and the beautiful voice of Angela. Her voice whispers softly over the pulsating synth which sounds like a modern day harpsichord droning along continually in the background. Accompanying in some of the breakdowns is a sort of call and response guitar type synth plucking back and forth between octaves that I really enjoy and adds a nice touch overall to the arrangement. One of those tracks that is perfect for an early morning sunrise.Lopezhouse is a duo who jumped on to my radar last year with their debut release with Dirtybird Records. One thing that you may have also noticed, accompanying all of their tracks is vocal artist Angela. Could not find much info on her but I do appreciate her voice. The Spanish born producers are keeping the ball rolling with the release above a couple months ago from Munich label Platten Bank which features a remix from the massively talented Guy J that I strongly recommend checking out as well. Add to the list their latest with Kittball and I would say are on their way up for sure. Not a bad resume to get yourself started with that's for sure. Here is their debut for Dirtybird as well.
