'Body Talkin' by Jean Bacarreza is one of those grooving head nodders that leaves you wanting more in all the best possible ways. The electro disco vibes swing to and fro while a delightfully full and heady bass line commands the groove and flow of the track. Processed vocals that seem almost robotic lend nicely to the high end notes of the string synth progression. Open drum beats are layered neatly in the breakdowns and add character to the subtle kick. A few high hat stalls rest cleverly between the claps that double up to provide a healthy variety to composition of the percussive elements. The deconstruction that occurs during the main breakdown is fantastic, reminiscent of an experimental acid filter.This 21 year old producer is on an absolute tear at the moment. Promptly after releasing 'Body Talking' less than 2 weeks ago, Bacarreza followed up with a collab double release on Enormous Tunes Ibiza Nights collection. 'On The Block' sees him pair with Brazilian cohort Nytron while he lines up a sweet deep house jam with BrunoBe on 'Your Love'. Further releases on Lou Lou Records, Bunny Tiger, Sleazy G, and his own imprint Delicious Records, mean that Jean Bacarreza has become a staple name among G-house aficionados, Deep House lovers, and all the Indie Dance you can handle in between.
