Track of the Day: Flex Cop - Shiny
Flex Cop - Shiny
Flex Cop's 'Shiny' brightens up the dance floor with a disco ball, some funky electric guitar licks, and a deep grooving bass line. Ambient crowd noise intertwines with a variety of male vocal cuts transposed neatly over a crisp percussion arrangement to kick off this track. A fluttering guitar lick creeps into the first build up with a "shiny disco ball" loop sliding in and out between rests and rolls. A low end synth builds nicely as it dances with open drum elements and a cool Agogo Bell nestles in between the down beat. The track starts to come into its element near the 3 minute mark, as a washy synth grows in unison with an oscillating electro chord to provide a wonderful bridge to the tracks main drop. Boogie, Funk, Disco the list could go on. This tracks embodies wonderful elements of classic sounds but with a modern twist.Check out a preview of the full EP here:Flex Cop is having a great start to his young career.
