Track of the Day feat. Spank Rock + JoeFarr/ Raving George Remix

Track of the Day #1 Spank Rock -- GullyNot so sure how I feel about that ass staring me in the face so boldly but that's not what I'm here to talk about. While not a newcomer on the scene this is the first time we have featured Spank Rock for track of the day. Hailing from Baltimore and currently residing in Philly Spank Rock has drawn its influence from many genres; from Drag Queens at Bat Mitzvah's to "badass guitar-fondling queers who sing songs about incest, aliens, faith and love". His new track "Gully" recently released on Boys Noize and Bad Blood records is something of the likes I just haven't quite heard in a while. Its not groundbreaking new stuff here but it is definitely one of the most successful mash-ups of genres between Rap and Techno I have heard since Green Velvet. Really digging the bass-line on this track. Hope you guys enjoy it as well.Track of the Day #2 JoeFarr -- Confide (Raving George Remix)Now this is some album art I can get behind. Nothing super crazy just simple and direct. This next track is a remix by Raving George of one of my favorite producers right now JoeFarr. I am hoping that we can get this guys out to Los Angeles very soon. He has literally been making some of the best Techno the genre has to offer as of late. For this EP he has teamed up with a couple people I admire deeply in TWR72 and Raving George. I chose the latter of the two for this weeks mix but I feel like I should throw up the TWR72 track as well just for the heck of it. Have a great day everyone.
