Track of the Day #1 Rachel Row -- L Square (KiNK Outer Space Mix)Today we got a great remix for you from Kink off the Pets label. Pets is run by the Catz n Dogz fellas who have put together a stellar 3 part EP from several different artists which they have been releasing over the last couple of weeks. This track "L Square" beautifully sung by Rachel Row has gotten the outer space treatment by KiNK. Not really sure how to describe this track other than it would go perfect as the theme music for Space Mountain at Disneyland. I can totally imagine the song building up as the cart reaches the top of the mountain just before it plunges down with this track driving you through darkness. Every once in a while I kind of expect to hear some sort of Astronaut come on the speaker and say something to mission control. Really diggin' this one.Track of the day #2 Lutzenkirchen -- Do You Really (Original Mix)I just realized while I was getting all the coding and links for this track that I have never seen Lutzenkirchen perfom live before. WTF!! I have been following this amazing producer for ages it seems. I have many of his tracks on vinyl from back in the day when he was putting tracks out regularly on the label Great Stuff. This is his third full release of 2014 and its a little bit of a departure from the techier sounding beats he is usually getting down on. Just goes to show you how versatile and talented Lutzenkirchen is. Hopefully I can check him out if he ever makes his way to Los Angeles again.
