Track of the Day Kevin Saunderson -- Good Life (Magic Juan's Mix)Some of you will know this track and can hear it pumping through your ears just by looking at the title. Most of you once you hear it will instantly recognize this classic house tune by Inner City/ Kevin Saunderson. If you are not familiar with this legend let me help you out a little bit. Raised in a suburb of Detroit. Growing up with the likes of Derrik May and Juan Atkins. Saunderson was influenced and started to influence the Detroit music scene at an early age. Initially concentrating on becoming a DJ, Saunderson was inspired to create his own music after watching the six-month-long process as Atkins and May completed "Let's Go" in 1987. Inner City came about later that year buy accident when Saunderson met Paris Grey and recorded the vocals to "Big Fun". When that track blew up across the world the duo teamed up and wrote the track of the day "Good Life". Kevin Saunderson and Inner City have been such a major influence in my life and one of the reasons I love house music so much today. He continues to influence the music world everyday on his own and through his children and other relatives he has influenced that are now also producing amazing music. He continues to set the bar for house and techno and doesn't seem to be ready to slow down any time soon. Which is music to my ears.
