Track of the Day: Davidian - Could Never (feat Eli & Fur)
Davidian - Could Never (feat Eli & Fur)
Davidian's latest original 'Could Never' projects deep, sensual grooves intertwined with an array of uptempo rhythms resulting in a powerful emotional dance track. Energetic piano chords pulsate over Eli & Fur's vocals as soft claps and a cool wash build nicely into a clean open drop with a driving kick. Hints of alternate synth progressions flutter in and out during the course of the song, but we never loose sight of the lead piano. A beautiful wooden percussive element replicates the piano's chords to provide interesting dynamics and variety to the track. As we mentioned the song features a pair of some my favorite producers this year, Eli & Fur and it's clear that a profound relationship is building and many more delights will be coming from all 3 of these talents this year.Check out this tune the trio worked on last year:Nottingham based producer Davidian is steadily making a name for himself and has definitely peaked the interest of many of his peers. Kitsuné certainly set their eyes on him early on with the release of "What I Want" (feat. Tiffani Juno) and of course followed suit with the 'Could Never' EP. Davidian definitely displays a clever range of sounds from UK Bass in tracks like 'Wait' to straight dance vibes that we experience in 'Could Never' and 'Don't Wanna Dance'. His biggest public success to date has come in the form of the later mentioned track, a delightful remix for MØ the Danish pop sensation ruling the indie airwaves. Remixes and originals abound there's so much more to look forward to from this talented producer this year and in the future. We highly recommend you check out more from Davidian below:Listen to this and other tracks from this week's review on our latest Guest Mix courtesy of CURT REYNOLDS:Enjoy,MR PUZL
