Track of the Day: Bontan - State of Mind

Our favorite feline loving record label Suara helps us close out the week with this latest track from Bontan. Starting off with nice little groove the track picks up pace with a deep growling bass line and massive rounded kick giving the track some bounce. Adding in a mix of stabs and leads along with some great vocal work "State of Mind" takes on the vibe of some late night bass driven acid house of the 90's. This track along with "Reality" which is very similar in fashion to "State of Mind" are sure to be shaking up the dance floors across the globe. Check it out below.You can pretty much guarantee with Bontan you are going to get some high quality and dance floor ready tunes. Bontan has been having an incredible year so far. We haven't had the chance to review anything from him since his smash hit "Move on Out" from last year. So far this year he has seen a remix he did for The Big Cat & Ramiro Lopez reach #10 overall on Beatport along with a couple others for Suara. In addition he has had a few very successful releases for Toolroom, Circus, and Mad Tech Records. Add to that a busy touring schedule across UK and Europe and you could say Bontan is having a pretty good year so far. He is only going to keep rising from here.
