Track of the Day: Audio Junkies - Vividness Feat. Haptic

TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE, TUNE. Ok that's enough I think you get the point. I'd like to write the word "TUNE" over and over again and just leave the blog post at that. Not sure I can accurately describe the emotion that this track makes me feel. Starting things off right away with a solid groove and bright synth line that dances its way throughout the entire track. An ominous and brooding bass line accompanies a tenebrous vocal from Haptic which oozes through a multitude of pads and sweeps as the track builds back to its climax. I am an emotional person but not easily moved. The energy and emotion of this track hit me like a ton of bricks on this one. Really glad this one came out in time for me to throw it in this weeks mix. It wouldn't be a PZB mix with out something from the Suara Collection and this right here is in the running for my track of the year. This is not the first time Audio Junkies and Haptic have gotten together on a track for Suara. Earlier this year I featured the track above in one of our weekly mixes as well as in my live sets for Lightning in a Bottle and where ever else I was playing this spring. They are far from newcomers on the scene but this is the first time here at LAMP we have featured a track from these two amazing producers from Tel Aviv. Having been making a name for themselves in Isreal they have over the years become widely sought after the world over. Mainly in other parts of Europe as well as Brazil and Mexico. If you look at the list of artist who have been supporting their music over the years it is a veritable Who's Who of the house music world. The list includes Dubfire, Danny Tenaglia, James Zabiela, Marco Bailey, Slam, Wehbba, Sabb, Chris Lake, Hector Couto, Hollen and that is the tip of the iceberg. They have a massive catalog that stretches back at least five years and is full of gems. Dive in and explore these amazing producers archive when you get the chance, you will be greatly satisfied.Check out today's track of the day and many others in our very special 100th edition of our weekly mix series. Compiled by yours truly it's 25 of some of the very best dance music you can get your ears on. Thank you and enjoy!
