Mihalis Safras and Mark Broom seem to have taken a liking to the Brazilian as this marks Volkoder’s 4th major release on Material. ‘Etre’, the EP’s title track, offers us more of what we love about Volkoder – deep, booty-shaking basslines, heavy drops, and simple creativity. ‘Etre’ is a prototypical tech house track that is sure to move crowds across the globe for the rest of the year. His very first EP, ‘Detroit EP’, was released by Go Deeva Records in 2013 and it effectively launched his career. ‘Detroit’ saw support from superstars like Jamie Jones and his Hot Creations crew, Catz ‘n Dogz, and Tube & Berger. From there Volkoder began working with all the big techno and house labels including Kittball Records, Voltaire Music, and Toolroom. Last year’s ‘Different Beat’, out on Suara, was one of the summer’s anthems reaching #2 on Beatport’s top 100. Speaking of Beatport’s top 100, in 2014 alone Volkoder has had 15 tracks crack the top 100 in several different genre specific charts.
