Sleepy Cat - You Got To

We've come to know Sleepy Cat more and more and it's been an exciting process watching him develop his sounds and elevate his skills. This track struck a particular chord with us especially for it's diverse digital soundscape. The track crosses a lot of genres with it's arrangement of unique bass lines, drum patterns and cleverly cut and stitched vocal samples.

When it comes to working with an A cappella, the vocals in 'You Got To' have been artfully molded into a collection of timely chops and loops. While having a predominantly classic house feel, the track pushes through deep undertones to give its sound a multi-genre feel.

This track comes off an already strong start to 2015 for Sleepy Cat as opened up the year with a massive tune in 'On & On' [LAMP] and continues to make strides with his productions.
