Track of the Day: 'Without You' - The Writers Block

Keeping with the theme this week we have got another free download for you. Staying in the UK with The Writers Block a newly developed trio that has been spreading their love of UK Garage, Drum and Bass, and house. They came together to give you this nice little treat for Selected Records last month. The track features an absolutely gorgeous vocal that quickly builds into a wonderfully hollowed out base line drives the track. Im especially loving that classic piano they have incorporated into their breaks and builds. Pretty huge!Breaking out last year with their release on Ultra records ‘Don’t Look Any Further’, The Writers Block has been garnering much attention and support in their native UK. Consisting of three cool cats who came together over their love of music their names are Detox, Kam, and Haile. Recently their tracks have been getting air time on Radio 1, 1Xtra and Capital Extra. Which if your not familiar with are basically the biggest radio stations in the UK.
