Fresh of the boat from last weekends Boatylicious 4th of July cruise, Curt Reynolds bring you a brand new remix and free download of Verite's 'Wasteland'. Taking the absolutely gorgeous vocal from Verite they have recreated the track entirely. They have toned it down a bit from the original and gave the track a fun paradise feel, which is somewhat ironic considering the title. It's got a nice groove to it and some killer clap/snaps. Also love that bongo fluttering in the background. You may not know it by their name but Curt Reynolds is actually two guys. Both coming from different parts of the country Ben Curtis and Tyler Reynolds met each other a couple of years ago while working together at a bar in Santa Monica. Tired of listening to the shit music in the bar the two bought themselves some gear and learned how to use it with the intention of spreading good music. Today you can find them working closely with the Paradise Unlimited group as well as Modern Disco Ambassadors. We have also featured them here for one of our LAMP guest mixes.
