Track of the Day: Landis LaPace - Yeah

Looking through J. Worra's track list for the mix this week one of the names that has been popping up on my radar quite a bit these past 6 months has been Landis LaPace. 'Yeah' released a couple months ago for Audiophile XXL is full of energy and perfect to get dance floors blazing. He gets a nice groove going to start off the track before a pitched down vocal gets us hyped for the phat bass line that is about to kick in. The FX weaving their way in and out of the mix sound like they were sampled from a cosmic circus, with its bloops, bleeps and boings, slide whistles and cowbells. It all comes together very nicely and makes for an extremely enjoyable bass heavy house jam.Back in the spring of this year the guys over at Perfect Driver sent me a bunch of tracks. This was my first exposure to Landis LaPace. He has been someone I have been paying close attention to as he continues to put out some incredible music. One of the most impressive things about it all, this talented young producer is only 17 years old. Not sure if at 17 you can call it a break out year but he has the attention of many people in the House and Electronic music making scene.In addition to his releases for This Ain't Bristol this year the Tampa native has recently been featured on Thump with a guest mix for them as well as a recent release for the Bodhi Collective. At the pace he is on he will be riding a huge wave of momentum coming into 2016. Lots of free music on his page for you to enjoy so go check it out if you're into it.Big thanks once again to J.
