Klaves - Come On

Klaves gives us light at the end of the tunnel with some refreshing, super-funky house grooves in his latest release 'Come On'. From the outset we are invited to get down to business as a smokey vocal exclaims 'Come On!' to his heart's content. Light, crisp percussive elements and a sexy deep bass guitar captivate the ears as the track begins to grow and build while the extremely well timed vocal cuts add additional rhythm and flow. Near the 1:45 mark, the introduction of some very smooth synths begin to emerge supplementing the sultry vibe. There's a really great rattling sample/sound that rises over top of the drum arrangement and vocals that adds another interesting layer to the rhythm section, clever and not overused or intrusive to the overall soundscape. The jump off at 2:30 makes the anticipation of the long build-up that much more satisfying. It's not jarring or a huge shift in the track, which is actually a pleasant alternative and really meshes well with aesthetic of the track. Short and sweet this track is a guaranteed crowd pleaser.Check out this recent remix of 'Coastal Love' for Honne that's super bright and bouncy:Polish producer Klaves has seen a steady rise in popularity and for good reason. Since his initial EP release 'At Dawn Again' the youngster has released consistent well crafted sounds, with a clear direction and sound that has become synonymous with his name. He frequently sprinkles in Free Downloads, not just of remixes but also originals for his growing fan base to enjoy, which speaks to his love for sharing music with the masses. A steady diet of old classic jazz tunes found in his parents collection as a child resonate clearly in his choice of sampling and composition. Mastering the piano at a young age allowed him to develop an understanding of music on much more technical level. Klaves constantly refers to Nicolas Jaar as one of his initial influences in the electronic scene and clear motivation for his own career, 'when I heard his first EP and realized he was only a year older than me, everything changed'. There's already a healthy list of DJs, Producer, Radio Hosts, and media backing his talent and we can only hope that this trend continues to grow.Listen to this and more tracks from MR PUZL's latest Guest Mix below:Check out our latest release 'Utopos' feat.
