We are now settling back into our groove after a couple of weeks of shuffling around which means that it is once again my turn to play track selector. I have a really cool one for you from Gab Rhome this morning.Gabriel Rhome, also known as Gab Rhome, is back on Anjunadeep this month with his latest EP ‘Ceremonie Des Adieux’. The new EP is tremendously deep containing three original tracks as well as a stellar remix from The Mekanism. ‘Ceremonie Des Adieux’, the EP’s title track, is a churner. Rhome fully utilizes his lifelong experience as a musician on this one. ‘Ceremonie Des Adieux’ features a delicate, classical string track, exotic synths for ambiance, and a droning bassline that brings everything back down to Earth. It has a real ‘head in the clouds, feet in the dirt’ kind of feel to it. Rhome considers himself a producer first and foremost but as a DJ he does a spectacular job of setting and maintaining the vibe. He has the crowd in the palm of his hand at all times. Rhome has that ‘It’ factor and has quickly garnered attention for it. Having released his debut EP as recently as 2013, Rhome has already been championed by the likes of Lee Burridge, Sasha, Henry Saiz, and Above & Beyond.
