Track of the Day feat. Eats Everything, Catz & Dogz, and Mak & Pasteman
Bringing you a triple threat today. With a trio of producers I am absolutely in love with. All of these guys are fricking brilliant!Track of the Day #1 Mak & Pasteman -- Electro Funk MassacreI cant seem to get enough of these guys lately. There is almost no way I get through a DJ set with out playing one of these guys' tunes!! I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to and following these guys over the last couple years. I subscribe to Computer Music Magazine and was recently treated to close to an hour long video of the duo in the studio working on this track. It was amazing to learn some of the tips and tricks they use in the studio. Looking forward to implimenting some of them into some of the Brooks and Millar stuff we are working on. These guys are geniuses when it comes to sound!! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.Track of the Day #2 Eats Everything - AdamAnother one of my favs is Eats Everything. Bursting on to the scene with "Entrance Song" back in 2011 on the label of my next track of the day producers Catz & Dogz. Eats Everything has had a meteoric rise in the club scene. His fusion of UK Bass, House, Techno and Jungle have made him a very sought after DJ, and remixer. Sticking to his guns and offering no compromise in this release "Adam" he continues to expand boundaries in his style and ability to put together solid tunes!Track of the Day #3 Catz & Dogz -- Professor Nice LoveLast but certainly not least in my selections for the day is "Professor Nice Love" by the aforementioned Catz & Dogz. Nothing new here in fact call this the #tbt track of the day as this track dates back a couple of years. Sometimes you gotta step back and appreciate what has come before all of this. This duo out of Germany and Poland have helped give rise to many of the great talents that I have previewed on this blog this week. These guys have been around forever. Dating all the way back to 2003 when the duo performed at their club nights as Three Channels. Come to think of it I think I have some of their shit on Vinyl. Gonna have to dig through those crates. The pair have produced for Dirtybird, Crosstown Rebels, and Poker Flat as well as their own label Pets Recordings. I could keep going on about all of these amazing producers but that's boring. Just listen!!
