Track of the Day - Claude VonStroke -- Urban Animal (Dixon Remix)Ive been playing almost this entire remix pack whenever I get the opportunity. Claude VonStroke is continually nailing it down when it comes to putting together music and other producers who know what the fuck is up. The entire Birdhouse crew is on fire right now with now signs of letting up in the foreseeable future!! This remix I chose for this weeks mix was put together by one of the master mixers out of Berlin, Dixon. I personally finally got to see Dixon for the first time when he played the Yuma tent at Coachella this year, let me tell you it was a sight and sound (mostly sound) to be seen and heard (mostly heard). This guy just flat out knows how to pick the right songs for the moment.Track #2 - CDBL -- Come On (Mark Starr remix)I don't know much about this duo out of France CDBL but I do know that they are producing with several labels and producers that I respect. They are on the Sounds of Sumo label I talked about yesterday as well as the Hot n Heavy Label. This collaboration with Mark Starr is relatively simple in nature. That is until you hear it on some massive speakers and you can literally feel the push from the bass moving the air around you.
