Track of the Day: Devils Advocate (LA MIx) - Giom & Lonely Boy
It's been a fun week here putting together your track of the day selections with the Kings of the North. However, I decided to depart from their selections just a tad for today. Ive been wanting to throw a little love to the guys over at Bunny Tiger for a quick minute. We here at LAMP have been big fans of just about everything Bunny Tiger, since the label was founded back around 2012. Created by Sharam Jey the label has been consistent over the last few years in its ability to produce quality music and tools for DJ's like myself to use. Bunny Tiger has a multitude of releases from some of the brightest names in the industry today consisting of producers like Kolombo, Tapesh, Teenage Mutants, & Lou Lou Players. The label can also be a great resource for finding new artists, as it is regularly one step ahead what is popular in the ever changing electronic music scene.That case is strengthened by today's selection from Giom & Lonely Boy. While I can't speak too much on behalf of Giom, recently I came across Lonely Boy for the first time with his release of 'I Like Disco'. Since then I have made a point to snatch up whatever tracks of his I come across. I have had the pleasure of catching him play with the Desert Hearts crew as well as at the V-Lounge earlier this year for Take 2 Entertainment. His sets and productions are consistently dynamic and full of energy. He has a style that lends itself to the early morning sounds of techno and deep house, but is extremely well versed in keeping the funk alive.FREE DOWNLOADThanks for following along this week.
