Track of the Day: 'Between Your Arms' - Onur Ozman

Welcome back from the weekend. It was quite an interesting one here on the homefront. With the remnants of a hurricane parked right off the coast we had some crazy weather that played a little bit of unexpected havoc for a July weekend in Los Angeles. A few flashes of lighting brought most of us indoors but we made the most of it and rocked out anyway. We really need the water here too, so no complaints here. Ok enough about the weather. We have an amazing track to share with you today from Onur Ozman and Noir Records.Only in his mid 20's this Turkish born producer has been making quite a name for himself over the last few years. A machine when it comes to putting out music. Having several releases of his my self I can tell you his productions typically transcend the deep house, tech house and minimal genres. Taking his time to meticulously craft each of his tracks. His attention to detail shows as does his passion for the music. For his first release with Noir he brings us a very unique sounding track. With 'Between Your Arms' Ozman explores a lovely break beat groove. Not your typical hard hitting break beat though. A divine flowing beat with a delightful vocal and a mixture of hits and ethereal synths floating in the background. Its a strong EP from Noir with several great remixes as well as another original from Ozman. Im a big fan of the Dachshund remix as well.
