Track of the Day: Ciszak - Dance
Hope you all had a great weekend and were able to give your dancing shoes a work out. Starting off our week of reviews is this new track from Mix Feed and Ciszak. As per usual this is a free download and if your not checking this channel out on the regular in my honest opinion your messin' up. Especially if your a struggling DJ with no money to buy new music. You could easily pillage the free tracks on this site and put together probably some of the best 60-120 min sets of music one could hope for. Their selection of artists is top notch and ever varying. Today's Track 'Let Me See You Dance' from Ciszak is a great one to get you started. A thick round bass line bounces to the beat as the lead synth slithers up and down the scale like a funky slide whistle. The track really shines during the quick breakdown around 4 minutes in, chopping up the vocal and letting that sliding synth get a little wild. I especially dig the classic sounding piano chord stab that looms ominously in the back ground through out that section. Another one to add to the ever growing collection of great tracks put out by Mix Feed.Ciszak is one we have a very close eye on. Originally from Brazil the former Insomniac Discovery Project winner has recently moved here to Los Angeles to continue to develop his sound and career. We were lucky enough to have booked him back in September for an intimate session at The Room in Santa Monica, where he absolutely crushed the decks. I personally have really been diggin' his Our Power/Ready EP which has been been getting massive support from the DJ community. Most recently two of my favorites Umek and Coyu (The Big Cat) got together and dropped 'Our Power' in of of their recent sets. Really looking forward to what his gentleman has in store for the future.
