Track of the Day: André Gazolla - Hauzologic

This week we welcomed Buala into our guest mix rotation and boy did they deliver an incredible mix. Full of booty shaking house and tech house new and old. For our track of the day we are going to go back to last year and a track by André Gazolla titled 'Hauzologic'. One of mind you three tracks of his in the mix this week. So I'm thinking to myself he must be pretty special if Buala is going to put three of his tracks in the mix. As per usual I text the track of the day selection to the head honcho who does the artwork and his response was this 'officially addicted to Gazolla'. Safe to say we are new fans of the mans work. I love how this track feels like it tells a story. Something not inherently easy with this genre. It has an intro setting up the main players and then goes through a distinct beginning middle and end and brings all the players backs for a conclusion to bring down the curtain. It feels a little like I'm taking a stroll through the streets of Chicago. Right from the start my eardrums are full with the sounds of the kick and snare combo and the muffled sounds of the street filling the air when a funky little guitar riff comes along and grabs my attention. I pop in to check out what I'm hearing and I'm treated to this full on house jam with rolling bass lines, soothing pads and organ stabs. Along with this swanky groove is a smooth vocalist professing his love for and knowledge of house music adding to the classic feel. Today is going to be one of those days. I dont really speak Portuguese unfortunately and seeing as how Gazolla hails from Brazil I am having a hard time getting solid info to tell you. What I can tell you though is this is another one of the many young and talented acts coming out of Brazil as of late like our boy Ciszak. Ranging in styles from house like the tracks above as well as getting into some pretty heavy tech house and borderline techno which I will post down below.
