In addition to an amazing track list, Shuhandz also chose from an incredible list of producers as well. Sticking within the realm of selections from this weeks guest mix from Shuhandz, but straying away from the mix just a little bit we decide to review this new track from ALOK. His tune with Shapeless for Mix Feed is a hell of a tune also, so I figured this would be a good opportunity for myself to learn a little bit more about him and share it with you all. I didn't get very far into his channel before I was like yes!At the top of the page sitting there smacking me in the face was this track. I barely got through about the first 15 seconds of the song and I was hooked. This track is a little reminiscent of the big progressive house builders from the 2000's but with an air of freshness and class about it. Taking elements of Tech house and Techno and infusing it with this track as it builds bit-by-bit. Delicately layering pads, synths and vocals giving the track tons of atmosphere. Starting off with a super crisp groove, while teasing in a little bit of the bass line this track is a sneaky one that morphs into a beast of track with huge tenacious bass lines that drive the track home with an immense amount of energy. One of those tracks that if you don't give it a chance to develop you are gonna be sorry because it is a massive one for sure.I feel like I'm a little late to the Alok party but I'm glad I finally made it. This Brazilian producer has been getting after it since he was at the ripe age of 17 back in 2007. Still rocking his 20's this young producer has recently received acclaim from House DJ Mag as the #1 Brazilian producer at the Rio Music Conference of 2014 and has seen himself take the stage at Tomorrowland Brazil among many other accomplishments which have seen this artists stock rising more on the international scene. He is also literally just pumping out amazing tunes left and right.
