Wow the days are kinda zooming past at light speed this week. Feels like it was Monday just yesterday. Alas here we are only one day from the weekend! Durante's guest mix is on fire and is so full of amazing tracks I really have had a hard time choosing the tracks for the blog this week. Its a tough job but it has to be done! Today's track of the day is beautiful little piece that comes from Montreal's Maher Daniel. Released last year No. 19 Music 'A Call From Within' is a sultry house tune that transports you to what feels like tropical island paradise somewhere out in the middle of the cosmos. Full of grandiose sweeps along with fluttering steel drums and rolling toms giving that interstellar tropical vibe.Growing up between Dubai and Montreal Maher Daniel fell in love with music at a young age. Following his brother to gigs he realized that this was his calling. He decided instead of just playing records he wanted toproduce them as well. He got his start in Montreal defining his production skills and working with fellow musician Gab Rhome. Taking his time to really dial in his skill, Daniel made a name for himself playing at the well know Stereo Night Club in Montreal holding down a residency and providing support for the biggest names in house and techno today. He has excelled as a performer not only in the clubs but at festivals all over the world. The general consensus is one of amazement from those who have had the opportunity to catch him live.
