Unizonn - 'Balonizator'

Going back into the archives for today's track of the day with Unizonn's track from 2006 'Balonizator'. Unizonn has been around for so long he has more DJ names and projects than I can shake a stick at. His real name is Damjan Bizilj and he is most commonly referred to as DJ Bizzy. Bizzy has been around for quite sometime. Starting out back in the mid 90's with techno legend Umek he made a name for himself DJing with legends in their own respect Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, Marco Carola, Chris Liebing, & DJ Rush just to name a few. His other projects he has been a part of include Astrodisco, Ouroborots, Rotor (The rotors - Phonophobia), and Dataminions. The last of which is probably his most well known.Earlier this year the main man Carl Cox who is an amazing source for discovering music new and old dropped an Ibiza compilation for Mixmag in which he included this track. Everything about this track makes my ears tingle. I'm particularly in love with that sawed out synth that is the focal point throughout the track. It has a litte bit of that acid feel too it. That along with the excellent use of FX and a simple but solid groove and you have all the elements for a timeless track such as this. It makes me a little sad sometimes to know that for 8 years this song has been out there and I am just now discovering it. At the same time it puts a huge smile on my face knowing that there is almost a never ending supply of amazing music out there you just have to go out and find it.Checkout this track and others on Brooks & Millar's Guest Mix:Hope you all have an amazing weekend,PZB
