Track of the Day: Superlover - Night Drive

It has been a little while since we have had anything from one of my absolute favorite labels Suara. Our guest mix artists this week illyus & Barrientos recently put out a new track on a series from Suara that is a go to for me, "Kitties Wanna Dance!". I have all of what now makes up seven volumes of some of the best house music one could hope for. Vol. 7 is absolutely stacked with tracks from Wade, Dennis Cruz, Bontan, Raffa FL, Christian Nielson, Oscar L and many others. Our Track of the Day comes from Superlover. Huge fans of just about everything this dude puts his hands and musical touch to.For the compilation he made a fun and edgy tech house tune, 'Night Drive' that is sure to get you off your feet if you weren't already. Starting off with a funky disco style groove, Superlover builds up the track with a menagerie of electric guitar riffs and a really catchy bass line. Speaking of which, I really love the tonality of the bass line, it is extremely rich and I feel it through out my whole body. It feels like it is coming from a group of two heavily modified electric bass and cello instruments. Not sure if it is recorded instruments or synth patches he created but it is exceptionally well produced.Superlover has the unique ability to take a very basic and classic sounding grooves and add such creativity to his arrangements you cant help but be drawn to his productions. House, Tech-House, Disco, Funk, Remixes of classics you name it he has got it covered.
