"Peak" by Tigerskin is a timeless classic house track that demonstrates technical and fluid composition.

Not entirely sure how or where I first came across this track by Tigerskin (aka Dub Taylor), but I recently went through some of my Beatport purchases and noticed this little gem hiding in my cart. This track comes off of the Torn EP from 2011 released by Dirt Crew Recordings, and it definitely earns the right to be called timeless (in my own opinion). The double kick & clap break beat intro really sets the tone for the song immediately. A soft fade of percussion builds into an awesome bass guitar line adding a little funk to the composition at this point. A soft bell synth is neatly placed over top with a airy string loop that really lightens the mood. Overall the track is very peaceful yet still powerful and diverse enough to move the listener along effortlessly through all 8:54s of the song without really sensing much time has past.
