Eos - Midas 104

Eos by Midas 104 is a celestial musical journey through space and time heightening your senses just as dawn is about to break.

A lovely minimal introduction of neat little percusion stabs and 808 style synth patterns sets the tone to the track. It settles nicely into a wonderfully full bassline synth a sense that the break of dawn is upon us. It should be noted that I'm drawing this comparison in hopes that the title was indeed a reference to Eos the Greek goddess of dawn. The composition of this lengthy track opens up to lovely variations in the bridge and calculated changes in tempo. the self-titled track comes off of a healthy 5 track EP released earlier this year. I recommend buying the whole thing!

Willi Schumacher aka Midas 104 is a Berlin based producer and live musician with a wonderful collection of releases. A personal favorite that he put out back in 2013 is a track called "Impuls"
