Track of the Day: 'Nomad' by Steve Prior

Steve Prior - 'Nomad'Happy New Year! For our first track of the day selection this year I wanted pick someone who's based in Los Angeles. I decided to go with 'Nomad", a track that was released back in mid November by Steve Prior who is the co-founder of Frenzy an after-hours affair at Avalon in Hollywood. As you all know I cant get enough tech house and techno in my life. I am a huge fan of the Suara label and can remember back to 2009 when he released a track with Thee-o for their Showcase #5.'Nomad' is what I like to call a tech house monster. It starts of fairly simply enough for the first few measures with just the main beat and a few effects. Slowly he starts to add in more parts piece by piece until you get this monster of a track that just drives away relentlessly. Looking forward to dropping this one in my future late night sets for sure!Lastly the tier 1 tickets for our 2 year Anniversary are going fast. Once they're gone the price will go up to $10 and then $15 at the door.
