Track of the Day: Just Her - On The Low ft. Kieran Fowkes

This week we are starting off with a tune from the wildly talented Just Her, aka Claire Spooner, and Kieran Fowkes. Although ‘On The Low’, out now on Selador, is the latest collaboration between Spooner and Fowkes the two have worked together many times over the years. This latest effort demonstrates that they should keep at it. ‘On The Low’ is a deep jam with a mesmerizing synth melody overlaid with hypnotic vocals. As all of the elements come together in the breakdown one can’t help but feel a profound sense of nostalgia. Along with Leon Baggots, Spooner makes up half of the infamous British DJ and production duo Him_Self_Her. Baggots and Spooner burst onto the scene with their 2012 bombshell ‘Gone Too Long’, which also featured vocals from Kieran Fowkes. As a solo artist, Spooner has been pegged for releases by a wide range of labels including Einmusika, Save Us, and Suara. Spooner also just released a full remix package for ‘Follow You Down’ for Global Underground.
