Track of the Day: Josh Wink - Shoelaces

After yesterdays post feat Carl Cox's remix from Josh Wink I couldn't help but get behind Winks latest release from Boysnoize Records. When I first heard Shoelaces I was in my studio and my jaw literally dropped wide open and stayed that way. If you had been watching me through the window you probably would have thought I was having some sort of seizure. A break beat groove kicks things off along with a percussive synth clicking in time with the beat. Plucky acid synths dart left and right through out the mix as Wink gradually builds tension slowly teasing the star of the track, the booming bass! This is some jaw dropping, shake your house to the ground bass here. I wasn't kidding when I said my chin fell to the floor. Wink is an absolute legend. The Soundcloud clip is just a little snippet. I posted the YouTube link below so you can experience this in its entirety. Make sure you have your dishes and fragile items in your house strapped down before you do though. You have been warned.
