Track of the Day: HRRSN - Ghost

Happy Monday my friends! Today we have a track from up and coming German DJ, producer, and label boss HRRSN (pronounced Harrison). A couple of days ago HRRSN released ‘Ghost EP’ on the Berlin-based label Ritter Butzke Studio. The new EP’s title track is nothing short of breathtaking. ‘Ghost’ is a beautiful and deep progressive house track that perfectly showcases HRRSN’s abilities as a producer. The track leads in with a deep, hollow percussion piece but quickly introduces a spellbinding modulated synth melody that provokes feelings of longing and regret. But when that vocal line kicks in during the breakdown (HRRSN’s own vocals) ‘Ghost’ achieves a bittersweet apotheosis. As one chapter ends, another begins. Beautiful, beautiful tune. Made me think of sunsets.Ulrich Harrison, better known by his moniker HRRSN, is a deep house producer, DJ, and label boss from Mönchengladbach on the western border of Germany. HRRSN only began producing Deep House a couple of years ago when he moved to Berlin. Since then he has something of a quick rise. His talents and abilities as a producer have been noticed by the likes of Noir, Stil vor Talent, and Suol and his sound is still evolving. HRRSN’s own label, WellDone! Music has also garnered attention by the Berlin house community having attracted a range of incredibly talented artists including BONDI, Rey & Kjavik, and KANT.
