Track of the Day feat. Low Steppa and TCTS

LAMP-trackoftheday-sleepycatHope all of you had great long weekend, and we know that some of you are starting new semesters, schools, etc. So this week we have a Sleepy Cat back in the studio to give you some grooves to get you through the stresses of the week. Today we're featuring a new track from TCTS "Games" and solid summer tune from Low Steppa.

Games ft. K Stewart - TCTS

This self titled track off of the forthcoming EP is absolutely amazing. K Stewart, one of the two featured vocalists on the release, elevates the mood of this track with a powerful delivery and cadence. Her voice is neatly layered over the top of an uplifting house groove. During the chorus we hear some great airy chord progressions that drive into a nice soft build and then back out to let Stewart's voice really shine.

Drifting - Low Steppa Feat Natalie Wood

In true Sleepy Cat fashion, another choice vocal heavy tune this time coming from another Brit, Low Steppa featuring the soothing sound of Natalie Wood. While really well known for his solid bass productions (really leading the pack in that category to be honest) we find ourselves slightly departing that style for this track and venturing into more of piano/vocal focused house environment. His signature bass line drops still feature in the track but are certainly outweighed by the beautiful vocal loops from Ms. Wood. Also be sure to check out a remake of an old classic tune "You Got The Love"."A 1986 single by Candi Staton. It was then remixed by The Source and re-released in 1991 as 'The Source and Candi Staton'. - WikipediaEnjoy,LAMP
