Journeyman deliver a slow melodic rework to Eli & Fur's 'Feel The Fire' full of wonderfully deep groves and silky vocal treatments. A tune purposely made for those late hour sets. Airy synths and echoing vocals intermingle with soft percussion layers and a neat collections of bell stabs and pads to deliver a dreamy vibe that leaves you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.Journeyman are a production duo from London that are relatively new to the scene only making their presence known to the masses in 2013. Since then they have had a steady rise to recognition including a massive pickup by the Magician on 'Magic Tape 41' as well as airplay on Kiss FM and BBC Radio 1. We're strapped for much more information about the two producers personally, but hope to cross paths with them in the future. For now we'll keep our ear open and look out for more quality releases from the two this year.Another house gem they recently released 'Crash Reel' is also out now on Anjunadeep:Since I was not too familiar with Eli and Fur up until a few months ago I decided to do some proper digging into their history as well. They met at 16 in college and their releationship has seemingly flourished and came to fruition when they began performing and releasing music in 2012. The Illusions EP the following year would be what put the two on the map and accelerate their career, with praise and support from the likes of Hackman, Ejeca, and Jimmy Edgar. In 2014 ‘Seeing Is Believing’, sees the girls collaborate with the talented Shadow Child to release on Defected.With 'Feel The Fire' out on Anjuna and another release 'Turn the Lights Down' on Eton Messy it's safe to say that these young producers have already carved out a piece of the scene for themselves and do not seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
