Track of the Day: Dragon Suplex - The Wave

Hope you all have been enjoying this weeks guest mix from Rafael Cerato. I am personally very excited about it. If you missed it make sure to check it out here along with the interview between Cerato and Mr. PUZL. Cerato's deep and melodic style of tech house and techno pointed me in the direction of someone new to me and the focus of our Track of the Day today. 'The Wave' from Dragon Suplex is one of three new tracks out on Dazed & Confused Records. Starting off with a punchy kick and bouncing percs the groove slowly builds. Gradually the bouncing percs take on this semi glockenspiel tone to them as wicked bass line introduces itself elevating the energy of the track. As the bass line drives away the two play off of each other with an almost ebb and flow feel as Dragon Suplex expertly arrange all of the elements of the track. Is there a wrestling move called the Dragon Suplex? If not there should be. The Duo coming from Switzerland have been making strides since their beginning around 2012.Our Guest mix artist Cerato as well as Dragon Suplex are both members of the incredible roster of producers that Einmusika can claim as theirs. My first exposure to them came through a release last year from Einmusika and a little more recently with Definition:Music and today's track. This is more than enough for me to make sure I am keeping a close eye on what these guys are up to. It appears these guys are starting to get the train moving so best jump on board. More from them below as well as our Guest mix from Rafael Cerato. Enjoy.
