Track of the Day: Cioz - You Simply Go Ahead

Today we have a track from up and coming Italian producer Cioz. Last year Cioz released ‘Burning Soul EP’ for the prestigious Armada Subjekt. Armada Subjekt is the home of some of the most prominent DJs in House music including Erick Morillo, Harry Romero, and Kevin Saunderson. ‘You Simply Go Ahead’, the EP’s B-Side, is a melodic techno piece that exudes a monstrous, eerie atmosphere. Cioz really pulls out all the stops with this one. The heavy bassline, the rising hypnotic melodies, and the chugging percussion all work together perfectly to invoke a stunning soundscape. Cioz’s first release was his ‘Heartbreaker EP’ for the Berlin-based label KD8. Since then Cioz has seen releases on some major labels like Making You Dance Records annd Einmusika. More recently Cioz dropped his ‘Arbol EP’ for monaberry which features Tim Engelhardt’s massive remix of the title track. Cioz also founded Knobs Bergamo, an artist’s collective in Bergamo, Italy.
