Track of the Day: Ant Brooks -Fluid

Came across this track a few days ago from someone who has been keeping my crates filled for several years now. Earlier this month Ant Brooks released this rumbling techno groove for Addeepted Records. A thunderous kick booms away with constant droning noise, symbol rides and percs filling the air. As the track builds a stabbing set of chords punch their way through really driving the track and adding life to what is a very strong but dark techno groove. It fits into a realm of music I like to call 'Running Man' Techno, because I always get this sensation of running or moving somewhere very quickly while listening to the track.If your looking for no frills grove laden techno Ant Brooks is your guys for sure. I have been collecting his music going back several year now. The Amsterdam based producer is one of the most highly respect techno producers of this day. Going from no frills four on the floor bass in your face techno, to more grooved out tech house style jams his style covers a pretty wide range. A regular on the beatport techno charts, he continues to produce excellent tracks for a multitude of labels including his own Groovant which just release the latest from him up above. Surprisingly Ant Brooks has eluded me as far as seeing him live. Im sure he has played here before but I keep missing it. Ill be keeping my eyes open as should you.
