In anticipation of Saturday night’s holiday party I thought I would choose a track from Kevin Knapp. So today we have his remix of Luca Donzelli & Mar-T’s ‘Ten Points’ out earlier this year on Sanity Records. ‘Ten Points (Kevin Knapp Remix)’ puts Knapp’s skill as a producer of bodyjacking tech house on full display. A thick bassline, tight vocals, and heavy ambient vibes all come together perfectly in this one for another jam from the big man. Knapp does a fantastic job of taking elements from Donzelli and Mar-T’s original mix, slowing the pace down, and turning it into its own track with its groove. Since moving to Berlin in 2013 the man has been on fire with releases out on ViVa Music, Material, and DIRTYBIRD among others.
