Track of the Day: 'Don't You Know' by Gabriel & Castellon

Dutch duo Gabriel & Catellon bring us 'Don't You Know' a bass laden house track full of rich drum loops and rolling electric synths. This track certainly brings a certain garage style gritty R&B female vocals intertwined with crisp percussion patterns. A big kick jumpstarts this track and after a few bars it introduces into some low rising synths and echoing vocal loops. The long build at the beginning of the track rewards the patient listener with a DnB style drop, the bass line groove is unmistakably influenced by the genre.This tune is a new track off of the Quirky EP release on Nurvous records and certainly our favorite of the 3 tunes from Gabriel & Castellon. This Dutch duo from The Hague & Rotterdam formed their partnership a little over 5 years ago and 2014 seems to be the year they've decided to make their mark with a few choice remixes and the summer release of this EP.
