Wildblood has become known for exploring the deeper side of house music. From the smooth saxophone melodies of ‘I Will’ to the darker ‘Crazy Eyes, Eric’, he accomplishes that in spades with each and every track of ‘U (Cassette)’. ‘I Won’t’ just debuted this morning and it is particularly beautiful. This is as deep as it gets. A delightful snare and offbeat hi hat accompany a simple three chord rhythm that drives the track. But the ambient sirens and the vocal sample of an almost whispered gasp are what add that level of depth that make the track so enticing. A very cool track to listen to while stuck in traffic on your drive home tonight.[soundcloud url="https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/245075719" params="color=ff5500&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false" width="100%" height="166" iframe="true" /]“The greatest joy for me aside from writing music is introducing people to music,” says Wildblood. Although Wildblood has been producing and curating tracks for Church for years, he didn’t release his premiere album until just last year with ‘Foreign Parts’ on SW Recordings. It was only recently that he says that he became comfortable playing his own tracks. Wildblood is now a staple of London’s deep house movement with releases on labels such as Skint, KNM, and Madtech. More recently he has had beautiful, melodic sets featured on Solid Steel Radio Show and SNTWN Podcast. Church, Wildblood’s imprint, has releases from accomplished deep house acts like Laurence Guy, Apes, and Viers. Up next for Wildblood is the label and party crew's 5 year anniversary party on 2/26 in London. Wildblood had a monster of year in 2015 so here’s to another one in 2016![soundcloud url="https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/238947316" params="color=ff5500&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false" width="100%" height="166" iframe="true" /]Enjoy,Mikey
