Track of the Day: Modeplex - Traveller

Recently I have been noticing and paying much closer attention to Jeahmon! Records. After doing a little more research I am now heading to Beatport (oh wait I mean the Fishport) to do a little catching up on some of the releases the label has put forth. Label head Marc DePulse is a genius techno producer and he has gathered some of finest techno producers on the planet to help him curate the rest of the releases. Our focus today falls on to Modeplex, whose release "Traveller" just landed. The Southern German born producer was new to me and I am glad I found him. With a handful of releases over the past few years he has been making his presence known in the techno world. With "Traveller" Modeplex takes us on a journey that explores a darker and more melodic side to techno with moody synths and subdued bass linesthat blend together effortlessly like butter to hot toast.
