Track of the Day: Max Graham - Redemption (Solid Stone Remix)
We're amping up the tempo for you today with a track released earlier this year on Cycles Records. In a guest mix from 333 that traverses trance, house, and techno; Solid Stone shows up twice. Our track of the day comes via his remix of Max Graham's 'Redemption'. Is it house? Is it trance? Maybe it's Techno. Solid Stone blurs the lines of genres bringing out the big guns on this one from the get go with a huge kick. This rolling beast continues to build as wispy sweeps, pads and white noise fill in the background. Dropping things down a bit, he brings in a blissful vocal element before putting the whole track back together in full force. Add in a few more percs to spice up the groove and a winding synth to give it a bit of that acid vibe and you got one beast of a track. I especially like how the sub bass / bass line has a sort of grinding effect. Really helps give the track that rolling feeling as it continued to pump away through the speakers.Solid Stone is a new one on my radar. I have been listening to a lot more house these days. 'Redemption' and 'Signs of the Future' along with several of the other tracks I discovered on his SoundCloud page have me diving back into the deep tech and progressive vibe in a big way. The latest EP Signs of the Future up above for Max Grahams new label Cycles is similar in style to today's track of the day. Rich full bass driving away relentlessly putting the listeners auditory senses into overdrive. THere is much more to discover from this Canadian producer. In addition to keeping our eye on him we will be closely watching to see what else Cycles and Max Graham have in store for us as well. Here is a sampler from their latest EP they posted just a yesterday. If you haven't had the chance yet be sure to listen to our latest guest mix from 333:Enjoy,PZB
