GT & Wildfire Feels Like It Should (Cassian Remix)

Cassian slides in an uptempo, dancefloor remix of GT & Widlfire's recent release 'Feels Like It Should' (out on Vicious Bitch)full of bouncing beats and airy synths primed for the sounds of summer. The track starts off with a deep kick and brushed hi-hat combo sprinkled in with some shakers and soft claps, all the mark of Cassian's masterful mixing and engineering expertise. A light, fluttering synth joins the arrangement while echoing vocal samples from the original track dance over top of the percussion which are eventually joined by a soft building series of synth stabs creating a wonderful transition before the track drops. The track kicks into another gear as we are immediately greeted by a meaty funk-laden bassline that rides for several bars until the chorus eventually joins in on the fun. I'm not one to usually jump in on the social media emotion trends but in this case I think it's appropriate to say that Cassian definitely brings so many 'Feels' and properly commands top spot on the amazing list of remixes involved in this release. He also made a huge leap in his own productions when Sweat It Out! picked up his single Running last year receiving critical acclaim from major radio hosts and touring DJs alike. He followed up the release with a recently dropped 2 track EP for the label called 'Takeover' unleashing more heavy club vibes and host of new deep sounds.
