Track of the Day feat. Danism, Groove Armada and Colour Vision

Hey there hope you all enjoyed my Croatia post yesterday. Im back at it again this week with another mix and some killer selections for you guys to check out before the mix is available on Friday. I also wanted to remind everyone about this Thursday when LAMP takes over Red Tide at the Shore Bar in Santa Monica. Were really excited about this event and hope to see many of you out there. We have had a really great summer with all the fantastic music released by our Boys Sleepy Cat, Templeton and Brooks and Millar. So lets end the summer with a bang this Thursday. Ok onto the tracks of the day!!Track of the Day #1 Danism - Work On ThisA couple of dudes named Dan have gotten together to form the group Danism. Coming out of the UK they have been working together as both producers and Dj's. This latest release on Shadow Child's label Food Music shows the level of talent they are bringing to the table. It has a slow rolling feel to it with its liquid sounding percussion. It just sort of ebbs and flows in and out of the pads and synthesizers which give it a nice warmth. Looking forward to hearing more form this duo.Track of the Day #2 Groove Armada - Rescue MeNothing much to say here other than... Groove Armada, Buisness as usual.Track of the day #3 Colour Vision - Sur ChicI have seen Colour Vision around quite a bit as he is a So Cal native and he has recently been getting his name out there more with his events he has been putting together out in Palm Springs. This release, which is his first by the way, shows his talent goes way beyond being able to hold down the decks. Which he has done on many occasion supporting acts like Cut Copy, The Magician, Miami Horror, The Juan Maclean, and one of our favorites Plastic PLates.
