Track of the Day: Dino Lenny - Shoot Me To The Sky (Extended Mix)

It seems that new label Sapiens is not messing around. It probably doesn't hurt that french producer Agoria is pulling the strings compiling music from in my opinion some of the best producers of highly intelligent and thought provoking techno on the planet. The first release came from Agoria whose music I have been collecting since the mid 2000's several of which are some of my most cherished records in my vinyl collection. The second was an incredible remix package of Oxia's - "Domino". That release was stacked paying homage to one of the more prolific tracks of the mid 2000's. Containing remixes from my number one all time Matador along with Franky & Sandrino and treatments from Oxia as well. To be honest I was wondering how you follow up and top it. Well Dino Lenny's EP "Shoot Me To The Sky" is definitively the answer. I have had this track on literal repeat for the last hour (It took me about an hour to write this whole paragraph haha) and am in no hurry to change the song anytime soon. This is the kind of track that just keeps getting better and better the longer you listen to it. There is so much to discover throughout the song from the cascading synths and pads that perfectly move throughout the mix to the captivating vocal (sung by Dino Lenny) and brooding bass line. It is very easy to get lost a little in this track but in a very good way. In addition to the title track there is one other new track from Dino Lenny "This Time We Take It Easy" along with a rework from Agoria on that one and Maceo Plex gives "Shoot Me To the Sky" his treatment as well. You can find the rest of the EP down below. Enjoy!
