Track of the Day: Bijou - Las Mujeres

This week we have been getting down with Audiophile Records DJ's Closed Caption. Their weekly mix for us has been a showcase of what their label has on offer in addition to some other great tunes making the rounds out there. One of the artists that pops up a few times in their mix is Bijou. I decided to take a step a way from the tracks of the mix and share with you this brand new release he put out on Mix Feed's SoundCloud Channel Free DL. This track is all about "the ladies, the ladies" and that boomin ass bassline. A pleasant 4 on the floor groove with a g-house infused techy vibe gets things started with deep stabbing synths and some off beat vocal hits. The introduction of the 'The Ladies' vocal sample opens the door for a massive bass line that bulldozes forward and tickles the senses. You know like when you're on the dance floor and the bass is so deep it makes your nose itch! That's what I' m talking about here.Bijou is a name we have been keeping a close eye on since I was introduced to his music about a year ago. This has been an absolutely huge year since his first official release with Sleazy G and Thee Cool Cats just about a year ago. Since then he has been invited to release with yesterdays TOTD crew the Bodhi Collective and played alongside some of the biggest names in the business like Pete Tong. A staple in the Arizona Electronic Music Scene, Bijou has been taking his sound on the road lately making frequent stop over in Los Angeles as well as a few other locations across the US. He is quickly garnering attention internationally as well with his high energy sets that are guaranteed to take you on sonic journeys you wont be keen to come back from anytime soon.
