Track of the Day: "The No Yeah" by Ardalan

Sticking with the favorites of 2014 theme this week today's Track of the Day "The No Yeah" comes to you from two favorites. First is its producer Ardalan. I first heard of Ardalan when he teamed up with fellow Dirtybird Player Justin Martin for one of my favorite tracks of all time "Mr. Spock". Since then he has continued to put out solid tune after tune. He has had quite the year this year as well. Traveling with the crew to South Africa, along with a jam packed summer festival schedule, and don't forget all those BBQ's!! Born in Tehran, Iran he has made his way to San Francisco where he is based today. Which brings me to the second of my two favorites involved in this track, San Francisco based label Dirtybird Records. To best describe today's track track I chose a quote from an interview he did where he was asked to describe his music in three words: "Random Drunk Bass". Which is fair to say of most Dirtybird tracks and probably why we like them so much.For those of you that live in Los Angeles and you are looking for something to do tonight Ardalan is headlining one of the best parties LA has going right now Night Bass. He will be playing along side a couple of local favorites Bones and Sage Caswell as well as host AC Slater doing a B2B with Astronomar!! For only $10 it's worth it to go in to work a little tired.PZB
